South African soprano Amanda Echalaz has appeared at leading opera houses across the world, including the Royal Opera House, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Sydney Opera House. Recent schedule highlights include performances of her signature roles, Puccini’s Tosca at the Semperoper Dresden, Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, and as Lucia in The Exterminating Angel at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and The Metropolitan Opera.
Recent schedule highlights include her return to the Santa Fe Opera festival in her role debut as Ariadne. This season she returned to the Royal Opera House and Semperoper Dresden to sing her signature role of Tosca. Future seasons include Ms. Echalaz's debut at Grange Park Opera in Ponchielli's La Gioconda.
